NoteCandidates must have an active Virginia Bar license and at least 1+ year of personal injury law experience. This is a Virginia-based remote position, so candidates must reside in Virginia.

Job Description- Manage a diverse caseload of personal injury matters from inception through settlement or litigation.
- Develop case strategies by evaluating liability, damages, medical records, evidence, and potential recovery.
- Communicate regularly with clients regarding case status, expectations, and next steps.
- Conduct legal research and prepare pleadings, motions, discovery responses, settlement documents, case summaries, and other filings.
- Conduct and defend depositions and actively participate in the discovery process.
- Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers and opposing counsel.
- Prepare cases for mediation, arbitration, hearings, and trial when appropriate.
- Represent clients in court proceedings and other litigation-related matters.
- Maintain accurate case records and manage court deadlines across a busy caseload.
- Collaborate remotely with attorneys, case managers, and support staff to move cases efficiently toward resolution.
- Provide responsive, compassionate, and professional representation throughout each client's case.
- JD from an accredited law school.
- Active Virginia Bar license required.
- 1+ year of personal injury law experience required.
- Experience handling personal injury matters through various stages of litigation.
- Strong legal research, writing, analytical, negotiation, and client communication skills.
- Ability to independently manage a high-volume caseload and competing deadlines.
- Experience with discovery and depositions.
- Deposition and trial experience preferred.
- Spanish fluency is a plus.
- Comfortable using technology and legal case management systems in a remote environment.
- Must reside in Virginia.
