Firm Overview
For nearly 50 years, WLPP Law has represented homeowner associations, townhome owner associations and condominium owner associations throughout the State of Colorado.
W e are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented paralegal with bankruptcy and collections experience to join our established and growing law firm. This is an excellent opportunity to play a meaningful role in a collaborative and collegial team environment assisting our community association attorneys. You will provide support to one or more attorneys in all phases of collections, including related collection litigation, foreclosure, and bankruptcy.
This position is an on-site in office position.
Responsibilities
- Receive and review incoming mail for assigned attorneys, determine next actions
- Manage the organization and workflow of a large volume of matters
- Communicate in professional and respectful manner with clients, employees, attorneys, opposing parties and third-party providers
- Maintain and hold in high regard all confidential information obtained through employment.
Qualifications
- Two (2) years of law firm experience.
- Paralegal certificate preferred.
- Additional experience and education may be considered.
- Collections and bankruptcy experience desired.
- HOA law firm experience a plus.
- Strong compuer skills, with the ability to quickly lear and effectively use practice management software, Microsoft 356 applications, and other technology required to perform daily job functions.
- Superb interpersonal communication skills.
- Understanding of and adherence to highest legal ethical standards.
