Contract Attorney

Soni Resources is partnered with a global law firm on their search for project-based,
Temporary
Attorney. This is a remote position which requires experience in employment-based, corporate/business immigration matters. The attorney will collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders to manage employment-based immigration filings, provide legal analysis, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations for the duration of defined projects or client engagements.

• Conduct legal research, supervise paralegal work, and ensure accurate use of case management technology in compliance with internal standards and protocols.
• Work with case teams to assess eligibility for corporate foreign national employees and prepare non-immigrant and immigrant visa petitions and related government filings.
• Advise and collaborate with client stakeholders on immigration program management, compliance, and case strategy, while drafting supporting legal documents and correspondence.

• J.D. or LL.M. with State Bar Membership
• Employment based immigration experience
• Strong legal writing skills
• Working knowledge of U.S. business immigration law with strong analytical, research, and writing skills, including the ability to draft and proofread independently.

Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
