Job Overview
A law firm seeks an experienced Criminal Defense Attorney to join their team in Phoenix, AZ. This remote position offers the opportunity to manage an active caseload focused on misdemeanors, low-level felonies, and record removal practices within Maricopa County.
Duties- Manage and review active criminal defense cases.
- Negotiate with prosecutors and represent clients in court.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding case progress.
- Participate in Arizona record removal practices, including set asides and expungements.
- Proven experience in criminal defense law.
- Ability to work independently and manage a full caseload.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
CertificationsLicensed to practice law in Arizona.
Skills- Proficiency in legal research and writing.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
