Job Overview
A law firm seeks a Litigation Attorney specializing in insurance for a fully remote position based in Kansas City, MO. The ideal candidate will have experience in first-party property insurance and be licensed to practice in Missouri.
Duties- Handle first-party property damage claims.
- Manage commercial and HOA insurance disputes.
- Oversee appraisal and arbitration matters.
- Conduct pre-suit through active litigation.
- Address select bad-faith matters.
- Active Missouri Bar License.
- 1-5 years of first-party property insurance litigation experience.
- Ability to manage deadlines, hearings, and discovery independently.
- Capability to appear in Missouri courts as required.
Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
CertificationsLicensed to practice law in Missouri.
SkillsExperience with residential, commercial, and HOA insurance claims. Entrepreneurial, disciplined, and self-directed.
