This remote position requires California residency and involves handling employment matters, including discovery, motion practice, mediations, and litigation. The attorney will advise and defend business owners and employers in employment disputes, with opportunities for meaningful responsibility and client interaction.

• Manage employment litigation matters from intake through resolution.
• Conduct written discovery and depositions.
• Draft motions and substantive legal memoranda.
• Participate in mediations and settlement negotiations.
• Appear at hearings and other court proceedings.
• Develop case strategy in consultation with partners and clients.
• Communicate directly with clients regarding case status, risk, and next steps.
• Participate in trial preparation as appropriate.

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active and in good standing with the California State Bar.
• 4+ years of employment law experience.
• California state court litigation experience.
• Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills.
• Depositions and motion practice experience.
• Ability to manage matters independently.
• Must reside in California.
