Legal Administrator
You are experienced, detail-oriented legal professional who thrives in a hands-on boutique law firm environment. You understand legal procedures and documentation, take ownership of your work, and can independently manage both legal support and firm administrative responsibilities. You'll work closely with attorneys to keep cases, client matters, billing, and firm operations running smoothly.

Compensation: $40-$45/hour
What you will be doing:Draft, proofread, cite-check, format, and assemble legal documents, contracts, pleadings, discovery, corporate records, and correspondence.
Prepare and submit electronic filings in state and federal courts, ensuring compliance with applicable court rules and procedures.
Maintain and organize electronic case files, discovery, trial and hearing materials, and client document systems.
Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, courts, process servers, and other third parties regarding case status and logistics.
Assist attorneys with factual research, entity filings, public records searches, due diligence, and transaction preparation.
Maintain corporate records and support HR onboarding, compliance and insurance renewals, and office needs.
Coordinate with technology, legal software, facilities, accounting, and other outside vendors.
Manage client invoicing, attorney time entries, accounts receivable/payable, and collections follow-up.
Bachelor's degree required.
At least 2 years of hands-on legal support experience in a law firm environment.
Proficiency with e-filing, legal document formatting, docketing, and case management systems.
Strong ownership mentality with the ability to manage assignments independently and proactively.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and a polished, professional client-facing presence.
Meticulous attention to detail, strong proofreading skills, and excellent organizational abilities.
Collaborative, positive, team-oriented approach.
Ability to work effectively and independently in a remote environment while maintaining strong communication with attorneys.
Experience with Clio, Microsoft Office, Ring Central, and Dropbox.
