Senior Counsel Labor Focus); Fully Remote

• Serve as a senior individual contributor on the Legal, Risk and Compliance team, advising on complex legal and compliance matters.
• Focus on employment and labor law, collective bargaining agreement obligations, investigations, and litigation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise on nonprofit and corporate matters, policies, and procedures.
• Conduct and advise on workplace investigations, interpret the CBA, and handle employee-related disputes.
• Review, draft, and negotiate contracts and lead cross-departmental legal initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor and active California law license or eligibility for registered in-house counsel admission.
• At least 8-10 years of legal experience, including nonprofit representation and employment/labor matters.
• Strong judgment, communication skills, and commitment to Tides' mission and JEDI principles.
