Corporate Associate​/Senior Associate - Investment Management and Private Funds

A law firm seeks a Corporate Associate/Senior Associate with expertise in investment management and private funds to join their team in Stamford, Connecticut. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in representing investment managers and sponsors in the formation and operation of private funds, as well as advising on regulatory and compliance matters.

• Represent investment managers in forming and operating private funds.
• Draft and negotiate investment management and fund-related documents.
• Advise on regulatory and compliance matters.
• Structure and document family office investments and services.
• Negotiate and document direct investments and co-investment transactions.
• Supervise junior attorneys and manage multiple work streams.

• Minimum of six years of experience in investment management and private fund formation.
• Substantial experience with sophisticated fund and corporate transactional documents.
• Ability to manage client relationships independently.
• Experience supervising and mentoring junior attorneys.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Bar admission in good standing in the relevant jurisdiction.

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
