Corporate Associate​/Senior Associate - Investment Management Private Funds and Family Offices

Job OverviewA law firm seeks a Corporate Associate / Senior Associate with expertise in investment management, private funds, and family offices to join their Providence, Rhode Island office. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of six years of relevant experience and a strong background in representing investment managers and sponsors.

• Represent investment managers in the formation and operation of private funds.
• Draft and negotiate investment management and fund-related documents.
• Advise on regulatory and compliance matters.
• Prepare and review private placement memoranda and related agreements.
• Represent family offices in structuring and documenting investments.
• Negotiate and document executive employment agreements for family offices.
• Manage sophisticated legal matters and supervise junior attorneys.

• Minimum of six years of experience in investment management and private fund formation.
• Substantial experience with corporate transactional documents.
• Ability to manage client relationships independently.
• Experience supervising junior attorneys.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Bar admission in good standing in the relevant jurisdiction.

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

• Bar admission in the jurisdiction of practice.
