Senior Police​/Civil Rights Trial Attorney

Overview

• The role focuses on handling civil cases likely to proceed to jury trial, working alongside a lead attorney and case support team.
• Candidates must possess significant litigation experience, including either a minimum of 10 civil case witness depositions taken or 10 jury trials (civil or criminal, as lead or second chair counsel), and a minimum of 5 jury trials (civil or criminal, as lead or second chair counsel).
• Preferred civil litigation experience includes civil jury trials, taking and defending depositions, managing written discovery, preparing discovery and dispositive motions, conducting oral arguments, and overall case handling and client retention; experience with police/civil rights or jail/prison cases is preferred but not required.
• The firm requires a minimum of 1,950 billable hours annually and a hybrid work schedule with two in-person office days per week in the DTLA office, with remote work optional for remaining days.
