Litigation Attorney – Plaintiff-Side Chicago​/Remote

Our client, a growing plaintiff-side employment law firm, is seeking an employment litigation attorney to join its practice in a primarily remote capacity. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who enjoys independently managing cases and is interested in the financial upside and autonomy of a plaintiff-side practice.

The firm has a strong and consistent pipeline of potential client matters, allowing attorneys to focus on evaluating cases, managing litigation, and developing a successful practice. • Primarily remote position with Chicago office space available as needed
• Significant autonomy and opportunity to build a practice without the risk of starting a firm independently

• Review and evaluate potential employment matters and identify viable cases
• Manage employment matters independently from intake through resolution
• Draft charges, demand letters, motions, pleadings, and other litigation documents
• Conduct discovery, depositions, and factual investigations
• Develop case strategy and manage litigation matters
• Negotiate settlements and resolve matters through appropriate dispute resolution processes
• Handle trials when appropriate, with additional team support available for significant matters
• Potentially develop business and originate additional plaintiff-side matters over time

• 4-20+ years of labor and employment litigation experience
• Plaintiff-side employment experience preferred, though experienced defense-side labor and employment attorneys interested in transitioning to the plaintiff side will be considered
• Illinois bar admission required;
  Missouri admission or willingness to waive into Missouri is a plus

The estimated base salary for this position is $120,000 base, plus strong bonus potential.
