Candidates must be admitted to practice law in Illinois and have experience with commercial real estate transactions. We are particularly interested in junior associates with 1+ years of relevant transactional experience who are eager to grow their careers.

We are seeking a motivated Junior Commercial Real Estate Associate Attorney to join our Chicago team. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your expertise while working on complex, high-impact real estate  this role, you will:

• Assist with commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and investment transactions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate transactional agreements and supporting documentation.
• Work on real estate joint ventures, private equity investments, and M&A transactions.
• Support commercial real estate financing, fund formation, and leasing matters.
• Conduct due diligence, analyze transaction risks, and help guide deals through closing.
• Collaborate with experienced attorneys and clients on sophisticated real estate projects.
• Gain exposure to office, multifamily, industrial, hospitality, retail, and other commercial property investments.

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active admission to practice law in Illinois.
• 1+ years of experience in commercial real estate transactions preferred.
• Junior associate experience, ideally within the 2024 or 2025 law school graduating classes.
• Experience with acquisitions, dispositions, financings, joint ventures, or other transactional real estate matters.
• Strong drafting, analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Experience at a large or highly regarded commercial law firm is a plus.
• Strong academic credentials preferred.
