Job Description & How to Apply Below

The Manager, Supply Planning & Logistics owns NAP’s day-to-day inventory control, supply planning, and shipment execution (primarily commercial, with overlap to clinical as needed). This role is the go-to person for inventory status, sample identification and fulfillment requests, agreement-driven forecasting requirements, PO processing, and shipping documentation. The role translates the overall supply plan into partner-specific forecasts and ordering activities, ensuring NAP meets supply agreement obligations and maintains reliable supply and traceability.

Key

responsibilities Inventory ownership
  • Own and maintain NAP’s end-to-end inventory visibility across products/materials, including stock reconciliation and forward-looking projections.
  • Establish a clear internal “request to fulfill” process for samples: confirm material identification, coordinate allocation, arrange shipment, and ensure inventory is updated and traceable.
Supply planning, forecasting, and agreement compliance
  • Translate the overall supply plan into partner-specific forecasts (monthly/rolling as required), ensuring timing and format comply with supply agreement commitments.
  • Track forecast due dates and requirements by supplier/customer agreement and drive on-time submission with cross-functional inputs as needed.
  • Monitor open orders, exceptions, and supply risks; propose mitigation actions and escalate constraints early.
PO processing and procurement support
  • Convert Approved Plan into purchase orders aligned with supply agreements and internal approval processes, coordinate PO lifecycle management with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Support invoice readiness and audit support (e.g., three-way matching, PO/invoice alignment, documentation retrieval) as needed.
Shipping coordination and documentation
  • Coordinate domestic and international shipments and generate/compile required shipping documentation; ensure shipment readiness, handoffs to freight forwarders/brokers, and timely delivery.
  • Support shipment protocols and investigate/shipping deviation support in partnership with Quality as needed.
Operational reporting and stakeholder support
  • Produce routine inventory/supply reporting (stock on hand, projected coverage, open orders) and maintain simple dashboards/KPIs that enable decision-making and prioritization.
  • Support cross-functional supply coordination and ensure stakeholders know where to go for inventory status, sample availability, forecast status, and shipment tracking.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, supply chain, or related discipline. APICS/CPIM preferred (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of manager-level supply chain experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry, including inventory management, planning/forecasting, and logistics/shipping execution.
  • Strong working knowledge of procurement/PO processes, inventory controls, and logistics documentation.
  • Hands‑on experience managing external partners (CMOs/CDMOs, 3PLs, freight forwarders) and maintaining production/shipping schedules.
  • Experience working within ERP/MRP environments and producing planning/inventory reporting.
  • Experience supporting both commercial distribution and clinical supply transfers.
  • Demonstrated ownership of execution, ensuring initiatives are delivered on time with strong follow‑through.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Effective cross‑functional communication, able to influence and align stakeholders at multiple levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain inventory accuracy, including tracking, traceability, and process oversight.
  • Strong forecasting discipline, ensuring compliance with agreements, standards, and operational expectations.
  • Occasional travel if required by work assignment.
  • Remote position, U.S. east coast preferred.
