Your Role
As a supply chain planner you contribute to the Distribution Center's overall performance by ensuring the right products are available at the right time to meet customer demand. This role manages inventory levels, develops supply plans, and collaborates closely with procurement, production, and logistics teams to balance supply and demand while optimizing working capital and minimizing supply disruptions.
Responsibilities- Monitor inventory levels and recommend adjustments to ensure product availability while avoiding excess or obsolete stock.
- Collaborate with procurement and production teams to align material availability with supply requirements.
- Review demand forecasts and translate them into actionable supply plans.
- Identify potential supply risks and develop contingency plans to minimize service impacts.
- Analyze and report key supply chain metrics, such as inventory turns, service levels, and forecast accuracy.
- Support new product launches and phase-outs by coordinating supply readiness.
- Work closely with logistics to ensure timely movement of goods to distribution centers and customers.
- Continuously improve planning processes, tools, and systems to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- High School education or GED.
- Bachelor's degree in a business or equivalent discipline preferred.
- At least 5 years of material planning experience.
- Thorough knowledge of JIT, Kanban, Vendor Managed Inventory, and Lean Manufacturing.
- CPIM or APIC training preferred.
- Detail oriented, organized, and adaptable to changing environments.
- Experience with Microsoft Office – PowerPoint and Excel.
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to evaluate data and make decisions.

This hybrid role requires presence on-site at 6416 Inducon Drive West, Sanborn, NY 14132 for 60% of the time. Remote work available for the remainder.
Salary range: $60,000 - $90,000. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on qualifications, skills, experience, and location.
