Managers – Global Supply Planning & Capacity Management – FMV
Location:
Kohler, WI.
- Ensure sufficient supply is planned across FMV product categories globally.
- Ensure regional planning processes are effective and support all FMV regional supply planners.
- Manage processes to ensure cross‑region planning decisions are made in the best interest of the global supply chain.
- Drive urgent actions to recover short‑term supply shortages and identify actions to maintain sufficient supply in the medium and long term.
- Analyze capacities and allocation issues for all FMV global supply sources in coordination with regional supply‑chain teams.
- Support analysis of strategic supply decisions and recommend changes in strategy.
- Identify demand‑supply imbalance issues and risks, and drive decisions on appropriate actions.
- Track actions, communicate status, and drive completion of critical items to the Global ESOP meeting.
- Ensure clear communication of status (including DSI, requirements versus capacity, and other views) and impact to involved FMV teams and leaders.
- Represent global FMV supply planning in IBP and business planning forums.
- Drive target setting and performance to achieve targeted outcomes.
- Ensure accurate, streamlined, and effective reporting of key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Maintain a list of approved and proposed capital investments impacting capacity, including timing and changes to capacity.
- Prepare 10‑Year summaries of demand‑supply‑capacity to support capital planning and other strategic decisions.
- Provide support for scenarios involving multiple regions to ensure supply plans incorporate demand for product transitions such as new product introductions, discontinuations, sourcing transitions, and supply strategy revisions.
- Provide coaching and guidance to supply planning associates to build the capability of the global team.
- Drive continuous improvement of the supply planning process in support of the supply chain transformation initiative.
- Provide leadership and model behaviors required to build a world‑class supply chain planning capability.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Logistics Management or related field and ten (10) years of experience in a comparable role.
- or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Logistics Management or related field and eight (8) years of experience in a comparable role.
$138,150–$217,050 per year.
Work Arrangement and Travel100% telecommuting/work from home is permitted from anywhere in the U.S. 20% domestic and international travel is required.
