Coordinator Supply Chain Management & Administration
Yazaki’s EMEA Headquarters in Lummen coordinates complex operations across EMEA, ensuring dependable support and long-term value for customers.
We are looking for a Coordinator Supply Chain Management & Administration to join our team.

Key responsibilities- Share expertise, analyses and insights to facilitate decision‑making and problem solving for the management.
- Report and analyze the performance of the SCM & Administration department, and make suggestions for improvements.
- Assure that all tools and data are available so that the department can achieve its overall planned objectives and departmental goals:
- Ensure that overall supplier and customer delivery performances are met.
- Ensure that overall customer satisfaction can be achieved, conduct the yearly customer survey, and define proper actions for improved satisfaction.
- Control and support an efficient logistics supply chain.
- Stock control, obsolete and excess, premium reporting.
- Analytical process reporting and parameter system control settings.
- Minimize stock, excess & obsolete: take the appropriate actions to meet deadlines and objectives:
- Coordinate DRP/MRP planning and processing of action messages within the department.
- Avoid excess & obsolete stock and sell created stock to other customers.
- Define responsibility for the created stock and issue or negotiate claims supported with required proofs and calculations.
- Calculate cost impact due to material shortages and backlog suppliers, and actively follow up on cost recovery initiatives.
- Prepare waterfall analysis to define supplier liability, check agreed yearly volume with the commodity buyer/demand & capacity planning team to determine if the supplier is delayed; review potential recovery with the customer.
- Minimize stock and premium freight risk; update orders to suppliers at least once a week to meet current requirements.
- Data management:
Update essential system planning data and align with Central Functions and Supply Management. - Participate in the resolution of operational problems.
- Continuously implement process improvement projects within the department.
- Define new processes and procedures and optimize current processes in line with ISO/TS16949.
- Participate in various projects within the department and from other departments: be a key logistic team member in meetings with Supply Management, central functions, warehousing and traffic group, management, suppliers, customers, to realize improvements.
- Maintain and improve existing working relationships and communications, coordinating with other internal and external stakeholders.
- Complete special projects and assignments as requested.
- Support benchmark activities to reduce costs.
- Update and implement ISO/TS 16949 procedures and processes within the group.
- Coordinate various activities within the SCM & Administration department in line with the Department Manager’s guidelines.
- Provide operational support to supply chain management and administration, including EDI problems.
- Support, analyze, and provide calculations in case of delivery crisis.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Logistics.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Economics, or Logistics.
- General end‑to‑end knowledge of Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Warehouse operations.
- Strong knowledge of MRP (Material Requirements Planning) system functionality.
- Experience working with ERP systems (preferably SAP).
- Decisive and able to grasp new concepts quickly.
- Detail‑oriented with a sense of urgency on assigned tasks.
- A desire to improve existing processes and work in an autonomous environment.
- Fluent in English.
- Proactive mindset and ability to work independently.
- 1 day remote working per week.
- 17.5 additional leave days (ADV days).
