Job Description:

Biologics Commercial Supply Chain Planning Senior Manager

General Summary

The Biologics Commercial Supply Chain Senior Manager will execute key supply chain commercial activities for a late-stage biologic program, supporting monthly supply planning, S&OP, system set‑up, and inventory management to ensure timely manufacturing execution.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Deliver monthly end‑to‑end supply and inventory build plans using Kinaxis Maestro / Rapid Response, factoring supplier capacity, demand uncertainty, and risk management.
  • Support the commercial and clinical supply chain biologics program, including scenario planning to facilitate data‑driven decisions.
  • Develop supply projections and 5+ year forward‑looking assessments of forecast and supply scenarios, and manage inventory to support life‑cycle initiatives.
  • Implement, test, and improve planning and execution system functionality to advance technology and planning processes.
  • Serve as Biologics Planning super user for Kinaxis Maestro / Rapid Response.
  • Support the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process to enable robust material and capacity investments, including network expansion.
  • Proactively assess risks across the biologics supply chain and develop mitigation plans.
  • Support strategic initiatives such as implementing safety stock, monitoring operational readiness, capacity analysis, and system integration.
  • Drive excellence in end‑to‑end operations by managing key supply chain KPIs.
  • Identify operational efficiency and continuous improvement opportunities to deliver a best‑in‑class supply chain.
  • Build strong relationships with External Manufacturing, Quality, Logistics, Finance, Commercial and other functions; foster team culture and trust to deliver uninterrupted supplies to patients.
  • Champion quality culture and ensure compliance with global regulatory requirements, implementing processes and controls aligned with evolving health authority expectations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience, Knowledge and Skills
  • 6+ years progressive experience in supply chain planning in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in biologics or sterile injectables.
  • Demonstrated experience in supply planning using Kinaxis Maestro / Rapid Response.
  • Experience managing and navigating a complex global supply chain network.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, addressing novel situations and exercising judgment based on technical expertise.
  • Proven ability to innovate and implement practical, compliant solutions; work seamlessly across teams and develop excellent partner relationships.
  • Understanding of principles and regulations governing biologics supply chain operations.
  • Sense of urgency to deliver quality results in a professional, ethical manner.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to convey complex issues and solutions.
  • Ability to anticipate scenarios and provide contingency plans for potential adversities.
  • Reliable teamwork and collaboration across functional areas, building trust at all levels.
  • Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite Process Manufacturing (OPM) or SAP; flexibility as the team and business evolve.
Education

Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or business discipline.

Pay Range

$116,200 – $174,200 base salary; eligible for annual bonus, equity awards, and possible overtime pay in accordance with federal and state requirements.

Flex Designation

Hybrid‑Eligible or On‑Site Eligible. Hybrid role allows remote work up to two days per week;
