Responsibilities

The Sr. Logistics Analyst (Cold Chain Lead) supports the Warehousing & Distribution activities of the Zebulon Site while ensuring adherence to all Quality and Safety standards. This role provides the day-to-day oversight and leadership for the Cold Chain value stream and focuses on managing receipt, intra‑site moves, and outbound shipments in tandem with the embedded 3PL warehouse partner, acting as the primary liaison for all Cold Chain Warehousing & Distribution inquiries.

The role also assists with Continuous Improvement projects related to the Logistics Team’s strategy, oversees the 3PL partner, serves as site SME for Cold Chain data and operational processes, and supports other operational and analytical initiatives as directed by local and central business teams.

  • Oversee the 3PL warehouse partner’s Cold Chain operations, including receiving, shipping, order transfers, cycle counting, IWTs, and other tasks while ensuring adherence to all Quality and Safety standards.
  • Manage external Cold Chain storage warehousing partner, including transaction and dispatch management for materials to and from the Zebulon Site and ensure movements are documented through S&D data and auditable documents.
  • Lead and ensure compliance with all Cold Storage requirements during movement of Cold Chain materials, including temperature monitoring logs, during receipt, intra‑site moves, and outbound shipments, ensuring GDP and ALCOA++ principles are followed.
  • Support internal or external audits of Cold Chain materials and processes.
  • Document and educate business partners on proper Cold Chain storage and transportation requirements; participate in and lead training sessions related to Cold Chain procedures.
  • Demonstrate accountability for warehouse capacity management by ensuring inventory accuracy through both physical and systemic checks.
  • Drive improvements for operational processes and data management at the site via problem solving, continuous improvement activities, and performance management.
  • Serve as SME for the site across Cold Chain Operations, FTZ, C&BP, e , SAP, MERP, S&D network, and general warehousing procedures.
  • Interface with central support teams, acting as site liaison or point of contact for Cold Chain.
  • Earn and provide Orange Belt support for deviations within the Logistics space via the DMAIC process.
Basic Qualifications
  • Associate’s Degree and minimum 3 years of experience in Cold Chain Operations Management.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment with Cold Chain Operations Management.
  • Minimum 4 years in a supervisory position.
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree and 1–3 years of experience in Cold Chain Operations Management.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills; solid team player able to function within team‑based organizations.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
  • Functional experience with Cold Chain regulations.
  • Highly numerate with knowledge of logistics systems related to operations and distribution.
  • Strong attention to detail with good time management and prioritization skills.
  • Strong problem‑solving capabilities.
  • Ability to stay organized and collected in a fast‑paced work environment.
  • Ability to work independently, sometimes with minimal supervision, and drive initiatives forward even when faced with ambiguity.
  • Ability to assimilate information from different sources to generate actionable business insights.
  • Experience communicating to all levels of the organization, both orally and in written form, about project status, performance opportunities, capacity issues, etc.
Work Model and Location

This position is hybrid, requiring regular time in the office and remote work. Exact days on‑site will be agreed with the hiring manager.
