Overview

The Head of Supply Planning, Amlactin & Triple Paste will lead the planning processes that translate demand forecasts into executable production, inventory, and supply plans. This role owns the supply planning cadence, master production schedules, CDMO production coordination, safety stock targets, constrained supply responses, and supply-risk visibility needed to support product availability and growth. The role is accountable for assigned portfolios of approximately 50 SKUs across two fast-growing brands distributed through mass, drug, food, club, and e-commerce channels.

The role partners closely with Commercial, Operations, Quality, Finance, and CDMOs to maintain service levels (target > 97.5% UFR) while improving planning discipline, inventory health, and supply responsiveness.

Responsibilities
  • Lead supply planning for assigned brands and SKUs, translating forecasts, demand trends, inventory policies, and business priorities into feasible supply plans.
  • Develop and maintain master production schedules and rolling 12-month production plans with CDMOs and key supply partners.
  • Coordinate CDMO production sequencing, order status, lead times, capacity constraints, supply risks, and recovery plans.
  • Manage weekly, monthly, and constrained-supply planning cadences, escalating risks and options to the Head of Global Supply Chain and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Partner with Commercial and Finance teams to provide supply visibility, support tradeoff decisions, and align expectations during short-supply conditions.
  • Set, analyze, and maintain safety stock and inventory coverage targets for assigned finished goods, balancing service, cash flow, shelf life, and operational resilience.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce excess inventory, minimize obsolescence, improve working capital, and increase supply responsiveness.
  • Maintain accurate planning master data and planning assumptions across ERP and supply planning tools for assigned items and suppliers.
  • Support new product launches, supply transitions, reformulations, technology transfers, and business continuity initiatives for assigned brands.
  • Coordinate with Operations, Quality, Accounting, our Distributor, and logistics teams to resolve production issues, inventory discrepancies, invoice/payment issues, and material variances affecting supply.
  • Track and report supply planning KPIs, including plan adherence, product availability, inventory coverage, shortage risk, supplier responsiveness, and service-level impact.
  • Recommend process improvements related to planning cadence, ERP usage, reporting, lead-time assumptions, data accuracy, and supply-risk management. Work with IT and CDMO to implement data flow across systems.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of progressive supply planning, supply chain, production planning, or operations experience in CPG, consumer healthcare, beauty, or other fast-moving consumer products environments.
  • Must have experience building or scaling supply planning processes in a high-growth CPG, beauty, consumer healthcare, or fast-moving consumer products environment.
  • Strong experience with supply planning, master production scheduling, inventory management, safety stock strategy, constrained supply planning, and I /S&OP participation.
  • Experience working directly with CDMOs, external manufacturers, suppliers, and third-party logistics providers.
  • Strong ERP and planning systems experience;
    Net Suite experience preferred.
  • Advanced Excel, reporting, analytical modeling, and data-interpretation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and prioritization skills with the ability to make practical recommendations in fast-moving, ambiguous, or constrained-supply situations.
  • Proven ability to influence Commercial, Operations, Quality, Finance, supplier, warehousing, and logistics partners through clear supply plans, risks, and tradeoffs.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, especially in communicating operational risks, supply scenarios, mitigation plans, and decision requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • APICS CPIM, CSCP, Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement certification preferred.
  • Experience using emerging AI, automation, and digital tools to improve planning efficiency, reporting, and decision-making.
Work environment
  • Hybrid role based in Bridgewater, NJ, with remote work flexibility on Mondays and Fridays.
  • Includes periodic interaction with warehouse, manufacturing, production support, supplier, and distribution environments.
  • Must be comfortable operating in a dynamic, fast-paced organization with shifting priorities and hands-on execution needs.
