This is a brilliant opportunity to be at the heart of network management, working with local authorities, utilities and internal teams to keep traffic flowing and communities connected.
What you'll be doingYou’ll be responsible for coordinating all activities on the highway and ensuring everything runs smoothly, compliantly and on time.
- Managing Street Works permits, traffic management requests and licence applications
- Coordinating activity across the network to minimise disruption and maximise flow
- Monitoring works promoters and identifying / resolving any non-compliance
- Supporting major events across the city from a network management perspective
- Building strong relationships with customers, local authorities and utility providers
- Ensuring all applications meet statutory requirements and deadlines
- Maintaining accurate systems and supporting the National Street Gazetteer (NSG)
- Producing performance insights and supporting KPI delivery
We’re looking for someone proactive, organised and confident in managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with in a Network Management or Street Works environment
- Good understanding of NRSWA, Traffic Management Act and relevant legislation
- Experience with Street Works permit schemes
- Strong problem-solving skills with a collaborative approach
- Ability to manage competing deadlines and prioritise effectively
- Confident communicator, able to engage a range of stakeholders
- IT literate, with experience of systems such as Street Manager, Confirm, NSG or one.network
Desirable:
- NRSWA accreditation
