Position: Commercial Operations & Logistics Lead – USA and Canada

Role Description This full‑time Commercial Operations & Logistics Lead – USA and Canada role at Jiahua Chemicals Inc. is a hybrid position based in Houston, TX, with flexibility for some work from home. The role oversees day‑to‑day commercial operations, including order management, contract execution, and coordination with customers and direct sales to customers, finance, and supply chain teams to support customers across the United States and Canada.

The individual will manage customer sales but have a strong understanding of logistics planning and execution, including coordination with warehouses, carriers, and third‑party logistics providers to ensure on‑time, cost‑effective delivery and compliance with relevant regulations. Responsibilities include tracking and analyzing sales and operational performance, maintaining accurate data in internal systems, preparing reports and forecasts, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The role also involves responding to customer and internal stakeholder inquiries, resolving operational issues, supporting pricing and margin analysis, and contributing to standard operating procedures and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Strong background in Business Operations and Commercial Operation, with experience supporting regional or multi‑country business activities.
  • Demonstrated ability to do sales
  • Demonstrated Analytical Skills, including the ability to interpret data, build reports, and use insights to improve processes and performance.
  • Solid Operations Management experience, ideally in logistics, supply chain, or chemical/industrial distribution environments.
  • Effective Communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions, interact with customers and partners, and present information clearly in writing and verbally.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems and standard office software (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint); experience with logistics or TMS tools is an advantage.
  • Proven ability to work in a hybrid environment, manage multiple priorities, and maintain attention to detail in a fast‑paced setting.
  • Experience in the chemical, manufacturing, or industrial sector and familiarity with North American logistics regulations are preferred.
