Logistics and Purchasing Coordinator in Battleboro

Job Description

We are seeking a Logistics and Purchasing Coordinator for eLoghomes, a marketer and producer of log home kits. This is a growth-oriented company with a differentiated approach to sales, marketing, and installation service vs. the industry. The role requires 1-2 years of experience in either a purchasing or logistics (transportation) role, and expertise in Microsoft programs, particularly Excel. The position reports to the Manager, Logistics and Purchasing, and is based at our main office in Battleboro, NC.

• Scheduling third party carriers for pick-up and delivery
• Contact customers for confirmation
• Onsite check-in process with drivers
• Coordination of purchase orders with key materials suppliers

• Strong written and verbal communication skills required
• High level of detail
• Team player and strong work ethic
• Proficient in Microsoft programs (Excel, Word, etc.).
• Position not required to lift more than 20 lbs.

• Bachelor's Degree required
• 1-2 years of experience in either a purchasing or logistics role
