Position Summary

The Operations Supervisor oversees day‑to‑day inbound operations—unloading customer product into the hub and inventory locations prior to outbound activity. The role also assists CDT/RTD in monitoring and troubleshooting delivery issues proactively and remains primarily in the office or warehouse, maximizing site performance through feedback and coaching.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Oversee day‑to‑day delivery operations, including monitoring of morning loadout/check‑in, delivery activity, and evaluation of motor carrier needs.
  • Maintain customer service in accordance with agreed quality and production standards.
  • Ensure timely reporting of loadout/returns compliance and motor carrier compliance within client standards.
  • Maintain professional relationships with location managers, peers, motor carriers, client employees, and other department managers, holding the team to the same standards.
  • Supervise and review route monitoring using client‑specific software.
  • Process and monitor returns through the client portal at participating locations.
  • Move inventory safely using material handling equipment as needed.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for client escalations.
  • Schedule orders and notify customers of their time windows for next‑day delivery.
  • Perform other duties as assigned (may vary based on client requirements).
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent required.
  • Strong people and operations supervisory skills.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office products (Excel, Teams, etc.).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills, including conflict resolution.
  • Ability to adapt to changes in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Ability to embrace new technology.
  • Two to three years of operations or final‑mile delivery experience preferred.
Physical Demands and Work Environment

The employee is regularly required to remain stationary for long periods, work in a standing position, and communicate effectively in person, on the telephone, and via email and other computer‑related messaging. Occasional maneuvering around the work area and moving/manipulating objects are required. The position may involve extended hours and travel.
