Senior Director, Supply Chain Management – Americas

The Senior Director of Supply Chain Management – Americas reports to the SVP of Customer Delivery & Operations and leads end‑to‑end supply chain operations across North America and Latin America.

The position is based in Dallas and operates in a hybrid model, with remote work on Mondays and Fridays and in‑office collaboration Tuesday through Thursday.

Responsibilities
  • Regional Supply Chain Strategy:
    Define and execute the Americas supply chain strategy aligned with customer delivery objectives and global operations. Build scalable processes to support rapid regional growth.
  • Strategic Account Leadership:
    Lead coordination of all supply chain activities supporting our largest global retail customer, ensuring alignment across forecasting, manufacturing allocation, inventory positioning, and deployment readiness.
  • Executive Customer Engagement:
    Serve as a senior‑facing supply chain leader with direct, regular communication with customers. Build strong relationships with operational and executive stakeholders within key accounts.
  • Executive Reporting & Presentations:
    Develop and deliver executive‑level reports, dashboards, and presentations for our largest customers. Present supply chain performance, risks, capacity outlook, and improvement initiatives during Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs), Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), and other high‑visibility customer forums.
  • EMS & Supplier Engagement:
    Develop strong executive‑level relationships with key EMS partners across the Americas. Conduct regular supplier business reviews and on‑site visits to drive performance and continuous improvement.
  • Global Capacity Alignment:
    Partner with Global Supply Chain to conduct manufacturing capacity assessments, support multi‑sourcing strategies, and proactively manage supply risk.
  • Procurement & Logistics Oversight:
    Lead Procurement and Logistics Managers across inbound, outbound, and cross‑border operations. Optimize freight strategy, warehousing footprint, and OTIF performance while balancing cost and working capital.
  • S&OP Integration:
    Collaborate with the S&OP Specialist and Sales Administration to ensure forecast accuracy, backlog visibility, and disciplined supply planning.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration & Urgency:
    Work closely with Program Management and Commercial leadership to understand internal needs and respond with urgency to sales opportunities, escalations, and deployment acceleration requirements.
  • Team Leadership & Development:
    Mentor and elevate a young, high‑potential team, instilling accountability, KPI discipline, executive communication standards, and continuous improvement practices.
Qualifications
  • Experience:
    • 15+ years of progressive supply chain leadership experience, including multi‑country operations across North America and LATAM.
    • Proven experience managing EMS partners and contract manufacturers.
    • Experience collaborating with global manufacturing and sourcing organizations.
    • Demonstrated experience communicating directly with enterprise customers and presenting to executive audiences.
    • Background supporting large enterprise or Tier‑1 retail customers.
    • Strong ERP and planning systems expertise (SAP preferred).
  • Skills:
    • Strategic thinker with strong operational execution capabilities.
    • Exceptional supplier negotiation and performance management skills.
    • Advanced executive presentation and data storytelling abilities.
    • Strong cross‑functional collaboration and executive communication skills.
    • High sense of urgency with the ability to balance commercial priorities and operational feasibility.
  • Abilities:
    • Ability to operate effectively within a global, matrixed organization.
    • Ability to manage complexity across geographies and functions.
    • Ability and willingness to travel up to 30% across the Americas region for customer meetings, supplier site visits, executive business reviews, and operational assessments.
  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, or related field required. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
