Logistics Coordination
Responsibilities
Responsible for order fulfillment and daily transportation functions as it relates to machine deliveries. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with skill set to manage multiple projects and demands.
Participate in delivery schedule rollout project planning, including facilitating machine white glove transportation delivery and/or pickup planning, scheduling and execution with internal stakeholders (Warehouses, Sales, Service and other groups) and external stakeholders (End Customer and carrier). Ensure effective and optimized solutions for white glove delivery needs.
Involved in cross‑functional group reviews related to transportation activity, collaborating with other team members to achieve our success in white glove transportation. Develop proprietary relationships with assigned customer accounts, resolving issues and concerns in a timely manner and providing innovative solutions.
Understand the end‑to‑end process across groups related to operations and machine handling requirements. Identify and recommend logistics improvement opportunities to Management. Coordinate inter‑divisional staff and third‑party logistics staff to implement new processes and programs successfully. Document and distribute process and procedure activities. Establish and maintain effective communication procedures and practices, internally and externally, ensuring logistics meets or exceeds customer expectations. Act urgently to address and resolve any transportation exceptions, including root‑cause identification and reviews with Management for improvement opportunities.
QualificationsHS Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required, plus 1 to 2 years of related experience.
- Experience in a computerized environment and working with a database management system.
- Organized and able to prioritize.
- Good communication and excellent customer service skills. Committed to providing quality results to all internal and external customers, with strong time‑management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with Excel skills.
Hybrid – Full‑time position with a hybrid work schedule requiring office presence three days a week and the option to work from home the remainder of the week (unless a specific business need arises requiring in‑office attendance on other days). Work schedules and office reporting requirements may change from time to time based on business needs.
SalaryIn accordance with applicable law, the anticipated rate for this role is $23.47 – $35.14 hourly.
