Job Details
Location: US-CT-REMOTE (must live in the Northeast region: CT, MA, NH, RI, PA, NJ, NY).
Citizenship requirement: U.S. citizenship required.
Role type: Remote (work-from-home with on-site presence at suppliers 80% of the time and 20% remote). Frequent travel within the Northeast region.
Responsibilities- Identify constraints that affect flow and develop improvement and mitigation plans to improve on-time delivery from suppliers.
- Actively participate in cross‑functional supplier performance reviews and co‑lead Supplier Business Reviews and Rate Readiness Reviews with customers and Supplier Development Leaders.
- Lead and co‑lead production meetings with suppliers.
- Acquire a big‑picture vision and understand that enhancing operational effectiveness is key to organizational performance.
- Drive results by continually pursuing ways to achieve goals that require determination, self‑motivation, and interpersonal skills to satisfy customer needs.
- Develop a strong understanding of the products and the operational processes they undergo at suppliers.
- Create opportunities to remove functional, operational, and logistical barriers to moving products out the door.
- Remove barriers to on‑time delivery of parts.
- Drive projects to completion, including leading indicator data collection and gap review, material coverage and tracking, quality notification communication and closures, and sub‑tier management assistance.
- Communicate across leadership levels within the company and the supply base.
- Build and maintain relationships with partners, customers, and suppliers.
- Manage multiple projects and interact with several departments and multiple management levels simultaneously.
- Lead, manage, and/or assist with process improvement projects.
- Apply rigorous change‑management disciplines to drive initiatives, processes, and CORE across the business and supply chain.
- Utilize project management methods and process‑improvement discipline to lead projects, identify and mitigate risks.
- Gather feedback and identify new improvement opportunities with Supplier Development Leaders.
- Travel up to 80% of the time within the Northeast region, onsite at suppliers 80% of the time and 20% of the time working from a home office.
- A college degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years in delivery assurance, supply chain, or a related field, or an advanced degree with 3 years of experience.
- Residence in the Northeast region (CT, MA, NH, RI, PA, NJ, NY).
- U.S. citizenship.
- Experience in Operations, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Ability to lead and inspire change.
- Learns quickly, grasps the essence of what is happening, and can change course rapidly.
- Builds strong relationships with peers and partners outside the team to enable higher performance.
- Open to ideas from others, analyzes them, and translates innovation into reality.
- Positive negotiation skills.
- Ability to handle many conflicting priorities.
- Flexible, enthusiastic self‑starter.
- Proficient in SAP and Qlik/Power BI.
- Experience working with cross‑functional teams.
Salary range: 86,800 USD – 165,200 USD.
