Sr. Supply Chain Specialist (12m Maternity Leave Contract)
We are seeking an experienced supply‑chain professional to support inventory management, forecasting, purchasing, assembly coordination, and quality control for our Canadian and U.S. warehouses. This is a remote position based in Ontario, Canada, with occasional travel. The role is an 18‑month maternity leave contract, ideally starting in late September/early October 2026. Candidates must be legally eligible to work in Canada and reside in Ontario.
Responsibilities- Support inventory management, forecasting, and supply‑chain planning, including MRP, production scheduling, and monthly updates.
- Monitor reconciliations, inventory counts, and adjustments across multiple warehouses in Canada and the U.S.
- Assist in defining and tracking departmental KPIs to ensure inventory and supply‑chain efficiency.
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing Communications to align production plans with demand forecasts.
- Assist with assembly operations, coordinating with manufacturing partners to resolve production, inventory, or quality issues.
- Participate in monthly production planning meetings with assembly partners (e.g., Unique Global) and provide status updates.
- Support purchase orders, vendor quotes, work orders, and raw material approvals, ensuring cost efficiency and timely delivery.
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, monitoring performance and holding vendors accountable for deliverables.
- Assist with requests for quotes and support sourcing of raw materials as needed.
- Partner with Accounting to reconcile MCOG accounts and support financial reporting related to supply‑chain operations.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for supply‑chain and inventory management activities.
- Support monthly reporting activities related to inventory and supply‑chain performance, and assist with proposal purchases for inventory to ensure product availability and alignment with business objectives.
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance to support the product realization process, investigate product issues, and implement corrective and preventative actions.
- Identify opportunities for continual improvement across supply‑chain and assembly processes.
- Ensure compliance with DIVA International Inc.’s ISO 13485 Quality Management System and B‑Corp standards.
- 3–5 years of experience in supply‑chain, inventory management, or operations analysis, preferably in CPG or regulated industries.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in forecasting, MRP systems, and production planning.
- Knowledge of inventory control, purchasing, and assembly operations.
- Familiarity with quality management systems and regulatory requirements (ISO 13485, FDA, Health Canada).
- Experience working with ERP systems (Net Suite or similar) and Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external suppliers.
- Detail‑oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
