Position: Supplier Performance Specialist (Remote - Northeast Region - CT, MA, NH, RI, PA, NJ, or NY)

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify constraints to flow that will be used to develop improvement and mitigation plans for improved on-time delivery from suppliers.
  • Active participant in cross-functional supplier performance reviews, co‑lead Supplier Business Reviews and Rate Readiness Reviews with customers and Supplier Development Leaders.
  • Lead or co‑lead production meetings with suppliers.
  • Acquire a vision of the big picture and understand that enhancing operational effectiveness is key to organizational business performance.
  • Drive for results, consistently pursuing continued ways to accomplish goals and objectives that require extraordinary determination, self‑motivation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the products and operational processes they go through at the suppliers.
  • Generate and gain opportunities to break functional, operational, and logistical barriers faced with getting products out the door.
  • Reveal and work to remove barriers to business goals specific to the on-time delivery of parts.
  • Effectively drive tasks/projects to completion which include:
    Leading Indicator data collection and gap review, material coverage and tracking, facilitating quality notification communication and closures, and sub‑tier management assistance.
  • Communicate across leadership levels within company and supply base.
  • Build and maintain relationships with various partners, customers, and suppliers.
  • Manage multiple projects and interact with several departments and various levels of management simultaneously.
  • Lead, manage, and/or assist with process improvement projects.
  • Use change management disciplines to drive initiatives, processes, and CORE throughout the business and across the supply chain.
  • Utilise project management approach and process improvement discipline to lead projects according to plan, including identifying and mitigating project risks.
  • Gather feedback and work to identify new improvement opportunities in conjunction with Supplier Development Leaders.
  • Must be able to travel up to 80% of your time within the Northeast Region and work onsite at suppliers 80% of the time; 20% of the time working from home office.
Qualifications
  • College degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years of experience in delivery assurance, supply chain, or related field, or advanced degree with 3 years of experience.
  • Reside in the Northeast Region (CT, MA, NH, RI, PA, NJ, or NY).
  • U.S. citizenship required.

  • Experience in Operations, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Ability to lead and inspire change.
  • Quick learner, grasps the essence of what is happening, and can change course quickly.
  • Builds strong relationships with peers and partners outside of team.
  • Openly considers ideas of others, analyses, and develops innovation into reality.
  • Positive negotiation skills.
  • Ability to handle many conflicting priorities.
  • Flexible, enthusiastic self‑starter.
  • Proficient in SAP and Qlik/Power BI.
  • Experience working with cross‑functional teams.

Salary Range

USD $86,800 – $165,200 (base).

Location & Travel

Remote work from home; must reside in the Northeast Region. Requires frequent travel within that region (up to 80%).
