Sr. Sourcing Manager – Food & Beverage Product Design and Sourcing – Target – Richmond, USA

Target is a Fortune 50 retailer with more than 350,000 team members worldwide.

Lead sourcing strategy for Target’s private label food programs, partnering with product development, marketing, planning, and responsible sourcing functions to deliver high‑quality, cost‑effective products.

• Develop and execute world‑class sourcing strategies and business partnerships across program, supplier, and facility.
• Lead cross‑functional relationships with product development, design, marketing, planning, and food safety teams.
• Meet cost targets and achieve financial results; create trading plans and optimize value across multiple categories.
• Assess global and national economic conditions, evaluate supplier and factory capabilities, and develop sourcing strategies aligned with Target’s strategic and financial plans.
• Support supply‑chain efficiency by applying best practices and collaborating with partner teams.

• 4‑year degree in business, supply chain, food science, or related field.
• 1–4 years of experience in merchandising, procurement, or inventory management, including supplier management/contracting.
• Strong negotiation, supplier management, analytical, and financial skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and strategic thinking abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience managing a range of products at various development stages.

Position may be remote or hybrid based on Target’s needs.

Hourly rate: $21 per hour.
