Remote Procurement Specialist

Key Responsibilities- Procure critical materials, components, equipment, and services by engaging with qualified vendors.
- Review, interpret, and verify purchase order requests, ensuring optimal quantity, cost, and application.
- Research sources, solicit bids, and assess quality, cost, delivery, and warranty policies.
- Manage vendor relationships, expedite orders, and update end-users on shipment status.
- Maintain automated purchase inventory files and records.
- Collaborate with the Quality Assurance department for supplier audits.
- Lead market research and manage local/national tenders for products and services.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or related discipline.
- 4+ years of relevant procurement experience.
- Proficiency with SAP/Jaggaer.
- Ability to operate standard office equipment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Certified Purchasing Manager or Certified Professional in Supply Management.
- Experience in a contract research organization.
