Supply Chain Operations Coordinator

We are currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Operations Coordinator to work based in Billericay, Essex on a full time, permanent basis.

Primary purpose

To be responsible for the development and leadership of the Supply Chain Operations Assistants and manage priorities and the team’s workload ensuring the delivery of high quality, productive and accurate operational support to the business, driving best practice and streamlined ways of working through implementing process improvements and training.

Key responsibilities
  • Optimise the efficiency of the Supply Chain Operations and Logistics team, supporting operational excellence and driving efficient administration on the team.
  • Manage cross‑function administration to enhance efficiencies to all functions, collating and directing workflow, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • In‑depth understanding of all areas within Supply Chain Operations and Logistics team, able to support the admin pool as necessary.
  • Provide admin support for complex or difficult tasks utilising wider business knowledge to complete the task.
  • Manage fines process ensuring that all fines are loaded correctly, resolving any queries as required.
  • Super User on WFX, making amends to the system as required.
  • Monitor system governance (running reports to ensure that all data is captured and accurate e.g. card types / sizes etc and ensuring teams make the necessary corrections).
  • Manage setting up packing codes on WFX as directed by the Packaging Supervisor.
  • Critical path management, ensuring that testing/commitment and supply chain deadlines are met.
  • Act as first point of escalation for the admin team.
  • Lead Supply Chain Operations admin meetings ensuring that the team are clear on priorities and rationale behind workload.
  • Develop Supply Chain Operations Assistants ensuring they have the knowledge, skills, tools and support to complete the relevant admin tasks.
  • Ensure that admin SLAs and KPIs are maintained.
  • Ensure that Brand PO’s are raised accurately and any issues are discussed with the brand and rectified prior to the PO being raised.
  • Act as the main point of contact between the brand teams and the Supply Chain Operations Admins.
Ad‑hoc
  • Support with onboarding new suppliers as and when required.
  • Support with onboarding of new brands where required.
  • Support with new business opportunities as and when required.

  • Establish clear and engaging communication routines with colleagues at all levels, encouraging a culture of transparency, accessibility, regularity, and clear direction.
  • Act as a technical visionary and specialist who inspires innovation and instills commerciality in every decision made; routinely reviewing processes and systems for innovation and commercial value.
  • Support the establishment of a warm and supportive culture within the team, actively addressing concerns and acting as a DCK role model.
