Material Buyer Procurement / Planning Coordinator

Location:

Colorado Springs, CO 80907.

Employment type:

Full‑time, W2 contractor (24‑month contract with possible extension).

Compensation: $35.00–$40.00 per hour on W2.

Overview:
The Coordinator will manage the entire lifecycle of purchase orders, from creation through invoicing and closure. The role requires close collaboration with internal partners and vendors to ensure timely delivery, accurate pricing, and issue resolution.

• Generate and implement efficient sourcing and category management strategies through the RFx process.
• Develop and negotiate contracts with new suppliers and perform tender analysis.
• Coordinate with internal and external teams on all material shipping (air, sea) and logistics.
• Add to quality supplier programs and maintain supplier database.
• Communicate delivery status, pricing changes and potential issues to stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate purchase order records and reports.

Qualifications:

Highly qualified and motivated with experience in supply‑chain or procurement, ability to work on‑site, and proficiency with Excel and procurement systems.
