Logistics Packaging Engineer

Our client, a globally-known organization in the logistics and manufacturing industry, is seeking a Logistics Packaging Engineer to join their global logistics team, in Maplewood, MN
. As a Logistics Packaging Engineer, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing innovative packaging and shipping solutions that enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure safety and quality standards are met. Job Title: Logistics Packaging Engineer

Location: Maplewood, MN (Hybrid Schedule - 3 days onsite)

Pay Range: $20-25/HR + Benefits

Contract Duration: 12-Months W2 Contract, potential to extend (No C2C)

• Design and implement logistics packaging and shipping solutions that optimize trailer utilization and reduce transportation costs across the global network.
• Document and standardize shipping and receiving processes to ensure consistency and operational excellence worldwide.
• Collaborate with logistics operations, manufacturing, procurement, and distribution teams to integrate packaging solutions seamlessly into the supply chain.
• Analyze logistics loading processes, including crating, decking, and returnables, to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
• Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to packaging efficiency and load factor performance, leveraging analytics tools like Power BI to drive continuous improvement.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in packaging

  , or logistics roles with a focus on process improvement.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills to partner effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proven ability to develop and document operational processes and standards.
