We’re looking for a Purchasing Leader to join our team! As a Purchasing Leader
, you will be responsible for sourcing and procurement of materials and services for our company. You will work closely with our team of buyers to ensure that all purchasing activities are carried out in a timely and efficient manner. If you are a motivated individual with a strong work ethic, then we want you on our team!

• Review and approve requisitions for over 100 locations based on monthly volume reports and in alignment with company KPI’s
• Place purchase orders with vendors and ensure needed products are received in a timely manner by monitoring the status
• Maintain accurate records of purchase orders and communication from vendors
• Work with vendors to negotiate the best pricing by volume and freight discounts
• Analyze and order necessary laser supplies for each location based on historical and projected data
• Verify order confirmations were received by vendors for all purchase orders
• Monitor monthly inventory reconciliations submitted by centers
• Report weekly on open orders over 2 weeks old
• Track missing orders, follow-up on backordered supplies & alternative options
• Field questions/concerns from the vision center team members
• Build and maintain positive relationships with vendors
• Collaborate with A/P department to resolve invoice discrepancies
• Assist in finding cost-savings opportunities
• Support and help build our vision for the future in procurement
• Other duties as needed

• Previous purchasing experience preferred with understanding of Purchasing processes
• Previous experience with inventory management preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Organization skills with strong attention to detail
