Job DescriptionResponsible for managing end-to-end sourcing events from intake through contract execution while ensuring timelines, quality, and documentation standards are consistently met. Collaborates with stakeholders, suppliers, legal, and procurement teams to support sourcing strategies, supplier negotiations, contract management, and procurement compliance in complex environments.
RequirementsBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Six to eight years of experience in Strategic Sourcing supporting IT or professional services sourcing in complex or regulated environments. Extensive experience managing end-to-end sourcing processes from requirements gathering through RFx and contracting. Experience supporting pricing analysis and supplier negotiations. Working knowledge of SAP Ariba. Strong analytical, organizational, and coordination skills with attention to detail. Excellent project and time management skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders and suppliers. Ability to manage multiple sourcing events simultaneously with minimal oversight.
Own execution of sourcing events from intake through contract execution. Collaborate with business stakeholders and procurement management to develop sourcing approaches and category strategies. Clarify and refine project objectives and sourcing requirements with stakeholders. Lead sourcing processes including RFx, supplier evaluation, scoring, and negotiations. Act as the primary contact with suppliers during sourcing and contracting activities. Support supplier negotiations to achieve optimal value and risk outcomes.
Ensure sourcing and contracting documentation is complete, accurate, and audit ready. Coordinate with legal and risk teams throughout contract negotiations. Support procurement documentation preparation for regulatory and external approvals. Ensure compliance with corporate purchasing policies and applicable regulations. Manage procurement processes and documentation within the Ariba source-to-pay system. Analyze supplier offerings, contract renewals, and invoice discrepancies. Track contract milestones and renewal timelines.
Support contract lifecycle activities including renewals, amendments, and issue resolution.
Experience in the Health Insurance industry. Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). Strong problem-solving and risk assessment capabilities. Professionalism and sound judgment in stakeholder and supplier interactions. Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments with changing priorities.
