Central Planning Professional
Rambus, a premier provider of chips and silicon IP, is seeking an experienced Central Planning professional to lead and integrate the end-to-end demand-to-supply planning process across products and programs. This role is responsible for driving inventory planning, cross-functional execution with Finance, and process improvements spanning NPI through HVM.
The ideal candidate is both analytical and execution-focused, with strong ownership at the project level, and the ability to influence across Planning, Operations, Finance, and Engineering to ensure supply continuity and business alignment.

Responsibilities- Demand to Supply Planning Leadership
- Own the central demand-to-supply planning process, ensuring alignment between demand outlook, supply capability, and inventory strategy.
- Drive inventory planning and risk management to support revenue targets and operational stability.
- Translate demand signals into actionable supply plans across suppliers, OSATs, and internal operations.
- Finance Partnership (Monthly & Quarterly Execution)
- Partner closely with Finance (FIN) on monthly and quarterly planning cycles, including outlook, close activities, and revenue support.
- Ensure planning assumptions, inventory positions, and supply commitments are clearly aligned with financial targets.
- Support reconciliation of demand, supply, and inventory data for executive and financial reporting.
- NPI to HVM Process Excellence
- Support and lead NPI to HVM transitions, ensuring planning readiness, material availability, and scalable execution.
- Act as a planning subject-matter expert at the project level, identifying risks early and driving mitigation plans.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Program teams to improve planning handoffs and execution discipline.
- Process Improvement & Standardization
- Drive process improvements across planning workflows, tools, and data accuracy.
- Identify gaps in current planning processes and implement scalable, repeatable solutions.
- Support system and planning enhancements (e.g., ERP, dashboards, automation) to improve visibility and execution quality.
- Cross-Functional Leadership
- Serve as a central point of coordination across Planning, Operations, Finance, Engineering, and Program Management.
- Provide clear communication, escalation, and decision support to leadership as needed.
- Mentor and influence extended planning teams without direct authority.
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Engineering, Operations, Business, or related field (master's preferred).
- 8+ years of experience in supply planning, central planning, or operations within complex manufacturing environments.
- Proven experience managing demand-to-supply planning, inventory strategy, and cross-functional execution.
- Strong understanding of NPI to HVM lifecycle and project-based planning.
- Experience partnering with Finance on planning, forecasting, and quarterly execution.
- Advanced analytical skills with strong attention to detail and data integrity.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence across organizations.
- Comfortable operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with high ownership.

The US salary range for this full-time position is $87,500 to $162,500. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location. The successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions.
