Supplier Performance Specialist – San Diego County, CA, Mexico

• Identify Bottleneck/Capacity Constraints that will be used to develop improvement and mitigation plans for improved on time delivery from suppliers
• Acquire a vision of the big picture and understand that enhancing operational effectiveness is key to organizational business performance

• Develop a strong understanding of the products and the operational processes they go through at the suppliers you will be working with.
• Ability to generate and gain opportunities to break functional, operational, & logistical barriers faced with getting products out the door.
• Reveal and work to remove barriers to business goals specific to the on-time delivery of parts.
• Effectively driving tasks/projects to completion which includes Leading Indicator (LI) data collection : RM availability and on order, WIP tracking , Quality notification closures, and Sub
  - Tier supplier tracking.
• Working with multiple projects and interact with several departments and various levels of management simultaneously
• Manage / assist with process improvement projects, prioritizes project work, and support the needs of CORE operating system
• Utilizes project management approach and process improvement discipline to lead projects according to plan, including identifying and mitigating project risks
• Gather feedback and work to identify new improvement projects in conjunction with Supplier Development Leaders
• Will be an active participant in Commodity Days, EMMs and SEMO (Supplier Exec Management Overviews), and Co‑lead with our customers and Supplier Development Leaders on the respective Supplier
• Must be able to travel up to 80% of your time within the San Diego County, CA, or Mexico
• On‑site at suppliers 80% of your time
• 20% of the time working from home office

• A College Degree or equivalent experience and 5 years of prior delivery assurance, supply chain, or related experience; or an advanced degree with 2 years of experience.
• Reside in the San Diego County, CA, or Mexico Area
• U.S. Citizen - U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
• Experience in Operations, Supply Chain Management, or related field
• Proficient in SAP and Qlik/ Power BI
• Learns quickly, grasps the 'essence of what is happening’, and can change the course quickly
• Builds strong relationships with peers and partners outside of team to enable higher performance
• Openly considers the ideas of others, analyzes, and develops innovation to reality
• Flexible, enthusiastic self-starter.

Demonstrates expertise in Supply Chain Management and Operations, with a strong focus on process improvement and on-time delivery. Proficient in utilizing SAP and Qlik/Power BI to drive data-driven decision-making and enhance operational effectiveness.
