Global Commodity Manager – Custom PCBs
Our client is seeking a highly driven and strategic Global Commodity Manager – Custom PCBs to lead sourcing, supplier strategy, cost management, and supply chain development for custom-fabricated parts and related commodities, supporting our client's business across multiple sites.
Due to ITAR and/or CUI compliance, this position requires candidates to be U.S. citizens.

- Technical & Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) Operational Support
- Supplier Performance & Relationship Management
- Cross-Functional Leadership
- Annual cost savings and PPV improvements
- Supplier on-time delivery performance
- Supplier quality metrics (PPM, SCAR closure)
- Lead-time reduction
- Payment term improvements
- Dual sourcing implementation
- Inventory optimization and continuity of supply
- RFQ turnaround and sourcing cycle time
- Supplier consolidation and spend leverage
- Hands-on experience in PCB sourcing, ideally someone who has managed a large-scale PCB portfolio of approximately $50M or more annually.
- Experience leading RFQ/RFP processes, supplier negotiations, and commercial agreements.
- Strong analytical and cost modeling skills with the ability to perform TCO and market analysis.
- Knowledge of fabrication technologies, manufacturing processes, materials, lead times, and supplier capabilities.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and supplier management skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with ERP systems, Excel, and supply chain analytics tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related technical field.
- Experience in EMS, aerospace, defense, medical, industrial, or high-reliability manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of supplier qualification methodologies and manufacturing quality standards.
- Experience managing global suppliers across the U.S., Mexico, and Asia.
- Strong understanding of supply chain risk mitigation and dual sourcing strategies.
- Experience supporting BTP (Build-to-Print) manufacturing operations.
- APICS, CPM, CPSM, or related certifications preferred.
