Salon Centric Network Supply Chain Analyst

Summary

The Network Supply Chain Analyst serves as the primary strategic engine for the physical distribution network. Unlike a traditional support role, this position owns the integrity of network data, the accuracy of financial forecasting, and the optimization of vendor performance. This Network role will be responsible for translating complex datasets into actionable business intelligence that directly influences the P&L and operational efficiency of our Distribution Centers (DCs) and Fulfillment Centers (FCs).

This role requires a degree of technical mastery and the professional maturity to guide senior leadership through data-driven decision-making.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
1. Strategic Network & Vendor Governance
  • Performance Ownership: Lead the analysis of network vendor spend and performance; proactively identify opportunities for optimization and cost-avoidance within the sourcing network.
  • Vendor Lifecycle Management: Own the end-to-end setup and management process for network vendors, ensuring seamless integration into our operational ecosystem.
  • Compliance Leadership: Act as the primary authority on vendor policies; develop and execute communication strategies to ensure 100% compliance across all network sites.
  • 3PL Financial Integrity: Manage the lifecycle of purchase orders for network vendors (including 3PLs and specialized services like Corrugate and Clean Harbor). Accountable for the accuracy of a multi-million dollar spend portfolio.
2. Financial Stewardship & Capital Planning
  • Capital Forecasting: Partner directly with Continuous Improvement (CI) and Site Leadership to lead the forecasting and validation of Capital Expenditure (CAPEX). You are accountable for ensuring that investment requests are backed by rigorous data ~$2MM in annual spend.
  • 3PL Financial Accuracy: Responsible for forecasting Goods Receipt (GR) estimates to ensure 3PL billing accuracy. You will bridge the gap between physical activity and financial reporting to mitigate budget variances. 3PLs represent ~50% of annual spend for distribution
3. Network Intelligence & Performance Metrics
  • KPI Architecture: Create, maintain, and evolve the monthly Network KPI dashboard for all DCs and FCs. You will be the "source of truth" for network performance.
  • Cluster Performance Management: In collaboration with the PMO/Continuous Improvement team, own the maintenance and reporting of weekly/monthly Cluster performance metrics, highlighting risks before they impact the customer.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Serve as the technical liaison between local operations and corporate leadership, ensuring data transparency and alignment on strategic goals.
Candidate Qualifications & Competencies Technical Expertise
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Experience: Progressive experience in supply chain analytics, financial analysis, or network operations.
  • Systems Mastery: Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Query) and Excel/Access. Ability to build automated reporting solutions is highly preferred.
  • Data Translation: Demonstrated ability to "story-tell" with data-taking complex technical outputs and making them digestible for executive-level stakeholders.
