North 40 Outfitters Home Office in Great Falls, MT is looking to hire a Full-Time Distribution Manager to join our team. We believe that each team member plays a vital role in the success of our company, and we are looking for authentic and enthusiastic people who love our lifestyle and believe in service before self.

As the Distribution Manager at North 40, you will be responsible for the strategic planning, leadership, and execution of our distribution and logistics operations. You will oversee the movement of products through our distribution network, helping ensure our stores and customers receive the products they need accurately, efficiently, and on time. This role will lead distribution and logistics teams, optimize processes, manage vendor and transportation relationships, and identify opportunities to improve service, productivity, and cost efficiency.

• Experience managing relationships with vendors, suppliers, transportation providers, and third‑party logistics partners.
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective vendor and business relationships.
• Experience with inventory management systems and practices, with a focus on maintaining appropriate inventory levels and minimizing stockouts and overstock.
• Proficiency with logistics, distribution, inventory, and supply chain management software and systems.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines simultaneously.
• Knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements, safety standards, and industry practices related to distribution and logistics operations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with team members, leadership, vendors, and other business partners.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
