About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager specializing in logistics and supply chain operations. This role is fully remote, allowing you to leverage your expertise to optimize supply chain processes and implement impactful projects from anywhere. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing supply chain initiatives, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of goods and services. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a proven track record in supply chain management and excellent remote collaboration skills.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the design and implementation of supply chain and logistics projects, focusing on process improvement and efficiency gains.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, defining scope, objectives, deliverables, and key milestones.
- Manage project resources, budgets, and timelines, ensuring successful and cost-effective project completion.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (procurement, warehousing, transportation) and external partners to ensure seamless operations.
- Utilize data analytics and technology solutions to optimize supply chain performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Monitor project performance, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure supply chain continuity.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in project management within logistics and supply chain environments.
- Proven experience in managing complex supply chain projects and implementing efficiency improvements.
- Strong understanding of logistics operations, inventory management, and transportation management systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills for remote team collaboration.
- Proficiency with project management and supply chain management software.
