About the Role

Our client is actively seeking a motivated and experienced Procurement Officer to join their fully remote team. This position is crucial for managing the acquisition of essential materials and services, ensuring cost-efficiency and quality across all operations, irrespective of physical location. You will be instrumental in developing and implementing strategic sourcing initiatives, fostering robust supplier partnerships, and driving procurement excellence from a remote setup.

• Manage the end-to-end procurement process, from requisition to order fulfillment, for diverse categories of goods and services.
• Conduct thorough market analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure competitive sourcing strategies.
• Negotiate favourable terms, conditions, and pricing with suppliers, managing contract lifecycle effectively.
• Develop and maintain strong, productive relationships with a global network of suppliers.
• Ensure adherence to procurement policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all transactions.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and provide timely procurement support.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a procurement or purchasing role, preferably with remote work experience.
• Demonstrated ability in contract negotiation, supplier management, and strategic sourcing.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, essential for remote collaboration.
• Proficiency with e-procurement platforms and standard office software.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
