Prestige Logistics LLC is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Freight Broker Assistant to join our growing team. Responsibilities:- Support freight brokers in sourcing, negotiating, and booking carrier loads
- Track and trace shipments to ensure on-time pickup and delivery
- Communicate with carriers and shippers to resolve freight issues and provide updates
- Maintain and update the Transportation Management System (TMS) with accurate load data
- Assist with rate quotes, load confirmations, and carrier paperwork
- Build and maintain relationships with carriers to grow the available carrier network
- Support billing and invoicing processes by verifying load documentation
- Prior experience in freight brokerage, logistics, or transportation is a plus
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with a TMS is a bonus
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Self-motivated team player with a customer-first mindset
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
