This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Supply Chain Support Manager based in India.

The Supply Chain Support Manager will play a hands-on role in managing day-to-day supply chain operations for a growing restaurant network. You will oversee inventory, purchasing, purchase orders, supplier coordination, replenishment, and supply chain reporting. The role combines operational execution with data analysis, allowing you to identify risks, resolve issues, and improve overall supply availability. You will work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure orders are accurate, shipments remain on track, and inventory is effectively managed.

Beyond managing daily priorities, you will identify cost-saving opportunities and help strengthen processes, reporting, and operational efficiency. This is a fully remote position offering the opportunity to take ownership, support a small team, and collaborate with a US-based organization.

Accountabilities:
  • Monitor inventory levels, product availability, usage, and movement to identify shortages, excess inventory, discrepancies, and potential supply risks.
  • Support demand forecasting, replenishment planning, and inventory decisions using historical data and business requirements.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies and reconcile incoming and outgoing product movements to maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Manage purchase orders from creation through fulfillment, reviewing quantities, pricing, accuracy, completeness, and delivery requirements.
  • Track open orders and proactively follow up with suppliers and internal teams on late, missed, incomplete, or otherwise problematic shipments.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and supply chain partners while monitoring delivery performance, pricing, order accuracy, and service levels.
  • Escalate and resolve supplier issues that could affect product availability or operational continuity.
  • Support supplier negotiations and identify opportunities to improve pricing, terms, service levels, and overall supply chain efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate supply chain reports and operational trackers using Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Analyze inventory, purchasing, supplier, and shipment data to identify trends, operational risks, cost-saving opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Provide clear reporting and visibility into supply chain performance to support informed decision-making.
  • Coordinate the day-to-day priorities of a small supply chain team and help ensure work remains organized and on track.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to communicate supply chain needs, risks, and issues effectively.
  • Take ownership of operational problems and follow them through to resolution while continuously improving processes, documentation, reporting, and efficiency.
Requirements
  • 3-5+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, purchasing, inventory management, supply planning, or a related field.
  • Previous experience leading, supervising, or mentoring supply chain team members is preferred.
  • Strong practical experience managing inventory and purchasing or procurement activities.
  • Experience working directly with suppliers and managing purchase orders through fulfillment.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and confidence working with significant volumes of operational data.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Experience using ERP, inventory management, purchasing, or supply chain management systems.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify discrepancies and address issues before they become larger operational problems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive, ownership-oriented approach.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with a US-based team.
  • Willingness and ability to work during US business hours.
  • Experience in restaurants, food and beverage, FMCG/CPG, retail, food manufacturing, distribution, or another inventory-intensive environment is preferred.
  • Experience with demand or supply planning and forecasting is a plus.
  • Experience managing supplier performance and negotiating with vendors is advantageous.
  • Experience identifying cost-saving opportunities or leading process improvements is preferred.
  • Experience supporting or leading a small team of planners, analysts, buyers, or supply chain coordinators is a plus.
  • Familiarity with business…
