Key Responsibilities- Build and update part‑day trucking schedules, driver assignments, and delivery timelines.
- Coordinate pickups, deliveries, and route adjustments based on customer needs and driver availability.
- Maintain ongoing communication with drivers to provide instructions, monitor progress, and resolve issues.
- Track shipments using dispatch or GPS software and provide timely updates to customers and internal teams.
- Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts, delays, or route disruptions.
- Document dispatch activities, communication logs, and shipment status accurately.
- Support compliance with hours‑of‑service and safety regulations.
- Provide professional customer service through phone, email, and messaging.
- Collaborate with warehouse teams, carriers, and customer service staff to ensure smooth operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1 year of experience in trucking dispatch, transportation scheduling, or logistics coordination.
