This position supports Talavera Apartments in Boise, , a 81‑unit property. The Maintenance Manager reports to the Property Manager and partners with them to ensure apartments and facilities meet the company’s quality standards. You will lead all maintenance activities and projects at this site, train and develop team members, and manage the maintenance budget and schedules.
What You’ll Be Doing- Supervise and schedule maintenance activities for the community.
- Determine weekly service request and apartment make‑ready schedules.
- Communicate with the Property Manager and inform them when apartments are ready to be shown.
- Periodically check the progress of each maintenance team member.
- Complete or support all repairs, replacements, and necessary updates to apartments for occupancy.
- Ensure all trash is removed before, during, and after make‑ready activities.
- Inspect equipment regularly and recommend repairs or replacements.
- Conduct one‑on‑one training with employees needing skill updates or new skill acquisition.
- Coordinate, schedule, and respond to service requests for occupied apartments.
- Periodically complete written property safety audits.
- Order supplies and manage the maintenance budget.
- Provide input to the Property Manager in determining needs for next fiscal year’s budget.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- 2+ years of experience in multifamily property maintenance, facility maintenance, or a related field.
- Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing plumbing, electrical, appliances, HVAC, pool, and spa equipment.
- EPA Type II or EPA Universal license preferred.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Availability for a rotating on‑call schedule for emergencies outside normal hours.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Must be able to work on site (remote work not allowed).
- Must be able to pass a pre‑employment background check and drug screen.
- Hourly rate: $24 to $26 per hour.

- Use standard maintenance equipment.
- Communicate verbally and in writing with coworkers accurately and promptly.
