Senior Project Manager

Our client is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join their team! This role will be crucial to establishing a PMO at an AI-driven organization.

Candidates must be local to the metro Atlanta area. This position is onsite 5 days per week in the Sandy Springs/Dunwoody area. After 6 months, it will have 2 days of remote work.

$130,000 - $140,000 annual base salary

• Establishing and Scaling Global PMO:
  Design, build, and deploy the entire Global PMO function from the ground up, defining governance, processes, and automation for a rapidly scaling software company.
• Managing complex projects involving Agentic AI implementation and data-driven solutions, including predictive and data analytics for clients.
• Driving process excellence and consolidating existing project management functions, ensuring alignment with Agile/Scrum frameworks, and implementing KPIs across the organization.
• This is a Cross-Functional Leadership Senior Project Manager role. You will act as a highly hands‑on operator and leader, integrating functions across teams.

• 8+ years of experience in project/program management.
• Advanced understanding and proven experience with Agentic AI from a Project Manager standpoint is required.
• Experience in establishing a global PMO in an IT environment, along with skills in digital transformation and change management with a trust‑building mindset.
• Strong experience with AI and automation, and their ability to enhance project delivery and governance.
• Strong leadership skills in a cross‑functional environment, including excellent communication.
• Proficiency in managing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and integrating PMO processes.
• Stable employment history with infrequent job changes and not a consulting background.
• Exceptional communication skills with a proven track record of cross‑functional leadership as a Senior Project Manager.
