Vice President Compliance Advisory – Zurich Insurance

Zurich North America is hiring a Vice President, Compliance Advisor to support multiple Business Units, ideally located at Schaumburg, IL North America HQ. The role reports to the Head of Compliance Advisory and Assurance.

• Provide compliance advice, insights and guidance to Business Units regarding strategies, projects, products, processes, and transactions.
• Analyze potential impact of future regulations and regulatory trends, with emphasis on state insurance regulatory requirements.
• Build and foster trust‑based relationships with business employees.
• Support simplification of processes by integrating compliance controls.
• Promote an ethics‑based culture.
• Assist with Market Conduct Exams and regulatory inquiries where appropriate.

• Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of experience in Regulatory Compliance.
• Experience with local regulatory and/or governance environments.
• Experience in developing, implementing, and monitoring compliance programs, code of conduct, and ethical issues.
• Leadership experience.

• Advanced degree.
• In‑depth advisory and consultative experience.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Effective conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
• Project management experience.
• Strong insurance regulatory knowledge related to underwriting and sales.

Base salary range: $ – $ with short‑term incentive bonus eligibility of 25%.
