Role SummaryThe M&R Manager oversees day‑to‑day maintenance and repair operations for chassis dry, genset and reefer equipment across the U.S. region. This role supports company objectives by managing vendor performance, ensuring operational continuity, and executing M&R policies aligned with North America and Global M&R guidelines. The position focuses on cost control, service quality, and timely equipment readiness.
Additional Responsibilities- Manage the regional M&R vendor network to meet performance, quality, and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with vendors that handle specialty equipment such as reefers and gensets.
- Review, audit, and approve repair estimates with a strong focus on cost accuracy and policy compliance.
- Lead M&R vendors to meet operational goals while navigating frequent changes and challenges.
- Ensure proper vendors are in place for each area for NA operations for dry, reefer, and genset equipment during both business and non‑business hours.
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to drive cost efficiency and service improvement.
- Monitor vendors' spend and M&R cost trends to support strategic cost control and budgeting.
- Support depot audits and follow up on corrective action plans to maintain quality and compliance standards.
- Contribute to initiatives focused on auto‑approval expansion, digitalization, and continuous process improvement, progressive cost savings initiatives and ideas.
Ability to draw upon 5+ years of management experience in an equipment capacity and 3+ years’ experience managing M&R in a global company. Possesses technical expertise and a drive for process improvement. Possesses a proven track record establishing and meeting departmental performance and financial metrics. Experience overseeing expenditures exceeding $10,000,000 annually is a plus.

5+ years of management and 3+ years of M&R experience. Mechanic, equipment inspector, or experience in either is a plus.
